Matt Swatek is the Head of Talent Solutions at Skillya, a recruiting process outsourcing (RPO) and nearshoring services company focused on helping small and mid-sized businesses build and scale their talent acquisition capabilities efficiently. A seasoned HR and talent executive, Matt brings deep experience in building and operating recruiting engines, developing talent strategy, and designing scalable hiring infrastructure for growing organizations.

Before launching Skillya, Matt founded Micro-Cap Solutions, an executive search and HR consulting firm serving PE-backed portfolio companies and founder-led businesses. Through this work, Matt saw firsthand the growing need for embedded recruiting teams and flexible nearshore delivery models, leading to the creation of Skillya as a dedicated RPO and nearshoring platform, built in partnership with Duckworks, a firm that has successfully developed and scaled a nearshore drafting and technical services business.

Concurrently, Matt serves as Vice President of Human Capital at Ninth Street Capital Partners, where he leads HR strategy and executive search across the firm’s portfolio companies. He partners closely with operators and investors to build leadership teams, strengthen HR infrastructure, and support high-growth initiatives.

Prior to Ninth Street Capital Partners, Matt advanced from Recruiting Manager to Chief Human Resources Officer at USA Millwork, a multi-state, $200M, 750-employee roll-up in the manufacturing and construction space. There, he built the internal recruiting function from the ground up, hired more than 125 employees in his first year, led all C-level and leadership hires, and helped design the company’s organizational structure. Earlier in his career, Matt held corporate recruiting and staffing roles at ISEC and Dish Network.
